Pretoria - Veteran flyhalf Morné Steyn will return to Loftus Versfeld after signing with the Bulls.
Steyn signed a two-year contract.
He will be the replacement for Handre Pollard after it was announced that Pollard will leave the Bulls to join French club, Montpellier.
"Steyn knows the culture and passion of the Vodacom Bulls as well as any one and will no doubt contribute massively, not only on the field, but also off it," said Bulls' CEO Alfons Meyer.
The former Springbok will leave French club Stade Francais at the end of the season.
He played over 100 matches after joining them in 2013.
Steyn represented the Bulls in 124 matches between 2008 and 2013.
