Cape Town - South Africa's unemployment numbers continue to drive discussion on twitter.

The latest statistics were released on Tuesday and revealed that 62 000 more people were without work in the first three months of 2019.

Simon says unemployment is a thief of the soul, a robber of potential and that behind each statistic is an individual with dreams of their own.

Unemployment is a thief of the soul, a robber of potential. Behind each statistic is an individual with dreams of their own. Unemployment is the single largest threat to the stability and progress of our nation. The unemployment numbers are a national tragedy. #unemployment

Tshegofatso thinks South Africa needs young and fresh MP’s, saying they may have new ideas to tackle unemployment and grow the economy.
