KwaZulu-Natal - Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan is in the spotlight again after an old tweet by Africa Check resurfaced on social media yesterday.
The tweet asked the University of KwaZulu-Natal to respond to its query regarding Gordhan’s qualifications.
Yesterday UKZN confirmed that Gordhan graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1973.
But tweeps are still not convinced.
Siphithiphithi says he wants to see documents, exam papers and a copy of the qualification, before he believes it.
I don't believe this...we want to see documents; exams papers; copy of the qualification. Pravin is a liar.— Sphithiphithi Evaluator (@_AfricanSoil) July 8, 2019
Ali wants Gordhan’s transcript and student number.

Singayisusa says Gordhan must just resign, because he is exposing and embarrassing himself.

And Thabani seems rather confused.
Durban Westville couldn't confer degrees in any field until 1974/75 as its only became a University in 1972🤔— Thabani Mdletshe (@Realthabanim) July 8, 2019
He says Durban Westville couldn’t confer degrees in any field until 1974.
Because it only became a university in 1972.
