Johannesburg - A video of an officer restraining a woman, while another person draws her blood, has gone viral on social media.
The incident took place on Friday evening at the Douglasdale police station in Johannesburg.
Now the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department says it has launched an investigation into the video.
The woman allegedly failed a breathalyzer test, and was taken to the police station for blood to be drawn.
The JMPD says if anyone was found guilty of any wrongdoing, they would face appropriate and swift disciplinary action.
