Cape Town - Temperatures have plummeted over the past few days, as a severe cold front sweeps across the country, leaving dustings of snowfall over a number of regions.
Residents of Sutherland in the Northern Cape, had an icy start to their morning, following heavy overnight snow fall.
Photos and videos on social media, show the town covered in a blanket of snow.
In the Western Cape, the Swartberg mountain range, Matroosberg and parts of Grayton have also experienced snow.
And, more has been predicted for these parts.
There's also a possibility that some light flurries could extend to the Free State, with a cold front expected to hit Gauteng, from today.
